*引用符「“ ”」の口頭表現。“air quote (両手のピースをくいくいと曲げるジェスチャー)”の要領で、特定のワードを皮肉っぽく茶化したり、含みをもたせる効果がある。
*単に他者の言葉を引用する際にも使われ、その際は「～曰く」という意味に。“quote (引用) unquote”の語順になることも。

使用例

Nina: Remember, too. I feel like sometimes when people use the word talent, like, yes, you might have had a natual quote-unquote talent for, you know, using your voice and listening, but most talent is things that you train.
